OUR IMAGES

The products you see on our pages are real. Every sandal, every bag, every belt is designed by DAMAPREZIOSA, handcrafted in Italy, and photographed by us — the item you will receive, or an identical one from the same production.

Some of those photographs are then placed, with the help of digital and artificial intelligence tools, into settings created for the purpose, or shown worn by figures that do not portray real people. The setting and the figure are a composition. The object is not. The product remains the one we photographed, with its own materials, proportions and finish.

Materials are never altered

This matters more here than anywhere else. DAMAPREZIOSA is a cruelty-free house: no animal leather, no animal-derived components, in any product we make. Our images are checked so that no surface is ever rendered to look like animal leather, and so that grain, sheen and texture match the vegan materials actually used. What you see is the material you receive, named in full on every product page.

What we never do

We never use artificial intelligence to invent a product, or to alter its colour, shape, materials or proportions. None of the figures in our images portrays a real person, and none is generated from the likeness of one. Our settings do not represent real places or real events; whenever a scene does depict a recognisable location, we say so alongside the image.

What you can rely on

Every product page includes at least one photograph of the item on a plain background, without any setting. That is the reference image — the one that describes precisely what you are buying. The others are the atmosphere around it.

Handmade means slightly different

Our pieces are made by hand in small numbers. Slight variations in tone, texture, stitching or hardware from one piece to the next are the signature of that work, not a flaw. Where a material is naturally irregular, no two items are ever quite identical — and we prefer it that way.
